25 Jun Summer Lovin’: Summer Weddings with Maggie Speaks
It’s no secret that wedding season is in full swing and our Maggie Speaks crew has had the pleasure of celebrating so many wonderful couples this month. For our band, creating personalized moments and unforgettable experiences is the goal of each and every wedding we play. We wanted to share some extra-special wedding stories that our band got to be a part of this month. Take a look!
Dan and Taylor
Congrats to Dan and Taylor! Talk of the Town Big Band featuring Maggie Speaks performed at their beautiful wedding at The Drake Hotel, and at the rehearsal dinner the night before at the The Adler Planetarium. Both Dan and Taylor come with large families and groups of friends – their wedding ending up with over 400 guests! Our band was excited to take on this challenge and was delighted to have nearly every guest on the dance floor all night long.
Tessa and Ally
Congrats to Tessa and Ally! Our band had an amazing time celebrating this wonderful couple at The Adler Planetarium. For our Maggie Speaks crew, weddings are more than just a performance. These are occasions where we get to really connect with our audience and create a memorable experience for them on the spot. As you can see, we had a ton of fun with the flower girl and ring bearer, as well as all Tessa and Ally’s guests!
Kathleen and Ryan
Congrats to Kathleen and Ryan! Maggie Speaks had previously played at Kathleen’s sister Megan’s wedding 4 years ago. Kathleen stated that the two things they planned first in setting their wedding date was when was the church open and when was Maggie Speaks open. Our musicians were able to create a special moment for Ryan, who had always wanted to sing “Shut Up and Dance” with the band. He was so excited for what he called a once in a lifetime memory that he had he practiced all month long for, perfecting his song and dance skills.
